Area 16 show jumping qualifiers Arena UK 5/6 November 2022

Novice Show Jumping Qualifier held at Arena UK on the 5th and 6th November. Plenty of great jumping at all levels, from 70 cm through to 110cm. We had 2 Teams in the 70, all jumping nice rounds with the odd poles, Joes Sayles, Tina Oxby, Nikki Thackery, Ali Johnson, Rachael Redmond, Sharon Stones, Grace Miller and Sally Beedham. Rachael winning the individual slot with a super quick, clear round and off to Champs. Well done.

The 80 class, again 2 teams, again a mix of poles falling, but some great rounds and amazing team spirit. Debs Renwick, Rachael, Janet Norton, Ali, Kelly Fox, Tina, Annabell Brownfoot, and Nikki. Debs wining the individual slot with a cracking round, super speedy and off to Champs. Well done.

Sunday brought the 90 teams into play, again 2 teams with the EMDG Sparklers fininshing 3rd and EMDG Firecrackers in 5th. Super rounds with Emma Jo Thorpe, Alice Holborrow, Alice Huckstep, Emma Marsden, Hettie Burnell, Lynne Ashley, and Sarah Hopkinson, Emma Jo also finishing individual 5th and Hettie individually 7th. Well done.

100 class, again 2 teams, unfortunately both running with 3 members. Charlotte Noad, Tracey Brown and Tom Eastwood won the coveted 1st place and qualification to Champs, Heather Urghuart, Nikki Thackery and Lydia Balls, finished in team 5th, so a great day day all round, Charlotte also picking up an individual 5th. Well done.

And then the heavens opened !!!!! The 110cm, 2 members, Nikki and Sara Lees, you were both amazing against all the sky could throw at you, 2 superb clear rounds to finish Ind 2nd for Nikki, picking up the individual qualification and Sara 3rd, literally milli-seconds between them. Welll done.
